LeRoy Herbel is Distinguished for His Work with the U.S. Military

LeRoy Herbel has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Herbel is distinguished for his work that aids the United States military. As an instructional specialist, he works with the military to develop and manage courses pertaining to communications engineering. He has worked with the Army Training Support Center in Fort Eustis, Virginia since 2004.

The telecommunications industry has been a longtime calling for Mr. Herbel. He first prepared for this industry by earning a Bachelor of Science from Southwest Missouri State University in 1976. Afterwards, he attended Georgia Southern University to earn a Master of Education and an MBA. In 1980, Mr. Herbel joined the United States Army and served as a captain until 1988. He remained a major in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1988 to 2014.

In his role, he maintains affiliation with the Telephone Pioneers of America, Phi Delta Kappa, the American Legion and the Military Officers Association of America. In the past he has been involved with the Kiokee District Georgia Carolina Council and the Boy Scouts of America.
